From a young age I've always sensed the Lords nearness. I remember being a little girl, praying about EVERYTHING I could imagine. From ladybugs and playdates, to asking God to make me disappear during difficult family situations.
My story hasn't always been the prettiest story, but I can clearly see the Lords hand and plan so clearly through every crack and fold.
Sensing Gods nearness and responding to Gods nearness is two completely different things.
By using every experience we have ever encountered of Gods grace and mercy, I believe our life testifies to the greatness of Gods love for us and the importance of our identity in Him.

“I have overcome the challenge of healing the layers of emotional scars that come as a result of domestic violence. I saw violence in the home as a young child with my mother and biological father and later found myself in that exact position as a young adult. The lies that find their way into cracked and bruised doors of insecurity and demoralizing abuse say things like; “You are not worthy of love.”.
Overcoming this throbbing lie proved to be more challenging than ending the relationship with the abuser. Though the relationship and the abuse may end, the lie tends to take up occupancy in the mind far longer than desired. Overcoming the mental and emotional scarring of domestic violence came only by receiving and understanding the TRUE love of Jesus Christ. ‘The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!’
Lamentations 3:22-24 NLT.”
